Mallorca
Mallorca's western region stretches from Puerto de Andratx to Pollensa. This is undoubtedly the most beautiful area on the island, as it includes the Serra de Tramuntana mountain range, declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2010. Charmingly quaint towns such as Estellencs, Esporles or Banyalbufar embody the ideal of Mallorca's tranquil lifestyle in harmony with nature. This is a landscape characterised by waterfalls, pebble coves, valleys stretching down to the rocky coasts and the traditional terraces where sturdy ancient olive trees that produce Mallorca's superb oil grow. Our most outstanding luxury properties in this area are to be found in the exclusive mountain town of Deià, near Valldemossa, where we have large villas in the George Sand residential development, or in Sóller and the famous Port de Sóller.
West Countryside
The western countryside of Mallorca is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful and full of history. Valldemossa and Soller are two of the villages that can be found. The former, famous for centuries for its great beauty, has been and is a place of inspiration for numerous artists such as the well-known Chopin. Soller, also a beautiful country village, offers a great culinary scene, as well as a great landscape, connected with the Bay of Soller through a an antique wooden tram on one hand, and on the other, with Palma, through an antique wooden train that must not be missed.
West Coast
This zone stretches from Port'dAndratx virtually all the way to Pollensa, and is Majorc'as most beautiful area. The Serra de Tramuntana mountains, which were declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 2010, are in this area. It is divided into three parts: the south, as far as the village of Esporles; the centre, as far as the bay of Sóller; and the north, as far as the town of Pollensa. The southern part includes the villages of Estellencs, Esporles and Banyalbufar, with its pebbled cove and small waterfall where the fresh water from the mountains flows into the sea. The Arabian influence on this mountainous region's agriculture can be seen in the form of the construction of terraces.
